The government in England confirms nearly all covid restrictions will end from 19 July

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed the easing of covid restrictions in England. The end of social distancing and legal limits on gatherings will have a huge impact on the format and programming of Leaders Week London. We’re excited to deliver a best in class networking experience and help drive business leads for everyone joining us this year.

Scroll to find out more about how the government announcement will impact your experience with us this October.

Restrictions on events and gathers lifted

Large events being approved to go ahead means we’ll be able to reunite the industry in person for the first time in 18 months. We anticipate there may still be some restrictions on international travel but we can ensure their will be senior leaders in the audience from across Europe and the US.

However, if you can’t join us in person this year you can still access the content through our Leaders Week Direct virtual event platform.

No social distancing measures

Confirmation that the ‘one metre plus’ rule will be removed entirely means we can get back to delivering the rich in-person networking experiences that the industry has been craving.

From the networking hall to private forums; evening drinks to masterclasses, you’ll be able to engage with top level executives across various parts of the event.

Face coverings no longer legally required

Engaging with people in a social setting is certainly more difficult with a mask on – especially when you want to make meaningful connections and talk in depth about key topics. So, we are happy to announce that you won’t need to wear a mask during Leaders Week London.

Your safety is our priority

The announcement is great news for the industry – however, the safety of every attendee is still our number one priority.

We’re still planning to test all attendees on arrival, there will be multiple hand sanitiser stations around the venue, and an enhanced cleaning schedule will be implemented. We will make further announcements as and when we get more information from the government.
