Our stringent judging process for the Leaders Sports Awards and Leaders Under 40 Awards is the driving force behind the organisations, partnerships, campaigns, networks and countries celebrated and given a global platform.
See below the judging stages for the Leaders Sports Awards.
We undertake a 6 month global search to collect nominations from all geographies, sports and organisations, to identify the innovative companies shaping the industry today.
All nominations are reviewed and scored by the Leaders Sports Awards Steering Committee, a panel of over 40 executives carefully selected for their industry knowledge and experience. The highest scoring nominations for each category will create the Leaders Sports Awards shortlist.
The Leaders Sports Awards Judges, a group of 50+ senior industry experts, meet to review all shortlist nominations, analysing and discussing every detail of their application to choose a winner for each category. The Judges will then vote anonymously on who they think should win each of the five Leaders Sports Awards categories. The independent scoring is confidentially validated by the Chairman of the Judges.
The Leaders Sports Awards shortlist is announced in July.
Finally, the winner of each category will be revealed at the Leaders Sports Awards ceremony on 9 October 2019, recognising the hard work and positive impact they’ve had on the sports industry.
