Which partnership is delivering the best results?

Community

The Community Award, in partnership with Facebook, seeks out and celebrates an organisation that is using sport to bring a community together. Leaders and Facebook are searching for a project that tackles a social problem in a practical way, reduces barriers between people or groups, and creates a lasting platform for positive engagement.

You will be:

  • Highlighting the impact you’ve had in tackling a broader social / societal problem.
  • Illustrating how you bring people together online or in-person as a way of strengthening community.
  • Exploring the main objectives of your project.
  • Inclusive and demonstrative of the ability to bridge differences through your initiative.
  • Showcasing your future vision.
  • Demonstrating how an innovative approach (e.g. use of new platforms, tools, engagement tactics) had a direct bearing on your results.
  • Fundraising can be one aspect of the support shared between community members, but should not be the only or main aspect.

There is no entry fee for the Community Award.

WHICH COMPANY IS USING SPORT TO BREAKDOWN BARRIERS AND BRING A COMMUNITY TOGETHER.

Best of 2019

Sport as we know it has changed. Competitions have been on pause, broadcasters are working with a very different products, and fans are having to support from home.

However, we don’t want all the great work that was delivered prior to the covid-19 outbreak to be forgotten, that’s why we’ve introduced the new Best of 2019 Award to look back and celebrate our industry at its finest.

Overview:

  • The work must have been delivered between June 2019 and March 2020
  • Demonstrate how the work was innovative and best in class
  • Explain how the project delivered against its objectives
