Science in Sport (SiS) and Leaders in Sport have created a new partnership for 2021 to drive the most forward-thinking knowledge in performance nutrition across the global high performance landscape.

SiS are globally recognised as industry leaders in performance nutrition, formulating evidence based products that are underpinned by world leading science and the highest standards of banned substance testing. In working with some of the world’s most pioneering and inspirational sports teams, SiS are committed to fuelling winning performances.

Following the launch of SiS Performance Solutions in 2020, a programme that provides ground-breaking research, innovation and service delivery to elevate elite teams and athletes to the next level of performance, the partnership encapsulates the commitment of SiS and Leaders in driving forward new thinking and actions in high performance.

SiS will work with Leaders throughout the year to explore and share thought leadership insight into some of the key themes, trends and best practice around performance and nutrition, including in-depth articles to share their research in the space, hosting roundtable discussions with senior performance experts and exploring and challenging thinking through athlete and practitioner content sessions across Leaders events.

Professor James Morton, Director of Performance Solutions, of Science in Sport said:

“We have been looking for a like-minded platform with which to share our Performance Solutions methodology of how we achieve high performance and support athletes in their journey to the podium. Leaders in Sport’s Performance Institute is just that, with an informed and curious audience keen to share, learn and develop together.”

Oliver Escritt, Head of Membership at Leaders in Sport said:

“We are delighted to be partnering with SiS. Here at the Leaders Performance Institute, we are firm believers that challenging conventional thinking is a way to achieve a better result – and with their innovative Performance Solutions programme, SIS epitomise that very belief. We facilitate a membership to allow our members to access exclusive, alternative and diverse insights and ideas which challenge thinking around what it takes to win, and our partnership with SiS will continue to help our global performance community achieve this aim.”
