Walter Farfan, Gary McCoy and Mike Blaster started their journey’s independently in their respective fields of psycholinguistics, sports science and technology. But it was the realisation of the impact they could bring to the world by combining their fields that lead to the creation of Peak AI.

They saw that in sport, like in society, we’ve optimised just about every area of human performance, whilst under-appreciating the power of the mind.

They knew that using AI to analyse psycholinguistics would not just provide a better explanation of the performance drop, but could also lead to programs that would help the athlete. They set about creating a frictionless solution that athletes would enjoy using and that could scale easily.

And so Peak AI was born.

The UK Sports Institute or UKSI (previously English Institute of Sport) is a grant funded organisation through UK Sport with Olympic and Paralympic sports engaging with the UKSI through their World Class Programme funding from UK Sport and English and professional sports through their Sport England and/or funding bodies.
