The most important characteristic was to implement a highly precise solution, that tracks with centimeter-accuracy and could be connected and integrated seamlessly with other platforms and systems already in use at the club technological ecosystem (e.g. a club-wide data platform such as SAP Sports One or IP cameras from GameOn).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22245\" src=\"https:\/\/leadersinsport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/190118_KINEXON_Case_Study_VfB_Stuttgart-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>KINEXON ONE tracking &amp; analytics at all practice fields. Additionally, using modular features such as video integration and synchronization, integration of official Bundesliga game data, and from season 2018\/19 on: ball tracking with a connected Derbystar ball.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><em>We have been analyzing many different systems on the market and eventually ruled out a GPS solution in favour of KINEXON. We see a lot of potential in this partnership, so we decided to also equip our U17\u00a0\u2014 U21 players with the tracking system.<\/em><\/h3>\n<h6><strong>Matthias Munz, Head of Technology &amp; Game Analytics, VfB Stuttgart<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Result<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Performance data: live performance data improves training control. Individual analyses over a long time help to monitor the load of players in its entirety and minimize the risk of injuries. Tactical analysis and visualizations can be easily displayed and presented to the players. Thanks to an automated recognition of game situations, more profound analyses are possible. New statistics have been developed for training to gain more information about passes, shots, ball possession and ball control.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22246\" src=\"https:\/\/leadersinsport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/190118_KINEXON_Case_Study_VfB_Stuttgart-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Outlook<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The system has been fully integrated in the daily work of the professional players over the course of a season. Since autumn 2018, the complete youth training centre has joined the integration and uses the KINEXON technology. The generated insights will help young players to prepare better for a professional career in football \u2013 ideally with less injuries during their active time.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><em>We quickly found a way to gain the right\u00a0insights out of the data.
