A few bits this week around how leaders can develop themselves, but also, in turn, can drive their teams and organisations.<\/p>\n

There is an almost never-ending list of traits and skills that leaders can work on to develop themselves. One mentioned a fair amount recently is humility<\/a>, and it seems like it\u2019s an attribute that is missing, but it needs to be focused on going forward.<\/p>\n

One leadership characteristic that you can probably improve is communication<\/a> \u2013 but that shouldn\u2019t just stop at leaders, as it\u2019s an area that all staff should be upskilled on.<\/p>\n

The culture of an organisation can help, or hinder, the ability to develop the leaders \u2013 there are some tips and strategies here to help reflect on how to build a culture that strengthens, rather than inhibits, positive leader growth.<\/a><\/p>\n

Alongside all the above, leaders need to look after themselves. Burnout has never been more prevalent \u2013 here\u2019s how to be a purpose driven leader without burning out.<\/a> If you do have managers or leaders within your team who are burnt out, there are things that you can do to help them recharge.<\/a><\/p>\n
