We asked Dave Reddin, the former Head of Team Strategy & Performance at the Football Association, what sets a winning strategy apart.<\/h4>\n
\n

“It’s vital for everybody, top and bottom, to have real clarity of purpose,” he tells the Leaders Performance Institute. “What does the organisation stand for, what is it ultimately going to be judged on, what is it trying to achieve over a timeframe? And then how does everybody contribute to that?<\/p>\n

“In other words, out of all of the things we could possibly do, what are the things we rank as most important to do and how does that reflect in each individual person’s day to day job?”<\/p>\n

Reddin, who remains one of the most sought-after minds in elite performance planning, also explains how progress can be tracked and how behaviours can be changed within an organisation as you seek to evolve the culture.<\/p>\n
