Leaders are delighted to announce iRENA as the first ever Official Chinese Partner of the Leaders Sport Business Summit, London taking place at Chelsea FC, 5-6 October 2016.<\/h4>\n

iRENA are a long term partner of major sports teams in China including China\u2019s national football team, NBA International Series in China, and the Chinese national women’s volleyball team. They specialise in ticketing, hosting and game management. The growth of Chinese sports \u2013 especially football \u2013 is on everyone\u2019s agenda, and iRENA are at the forefront of the industry. They are well placed to bring valuable insight from this market to the Summit in London.<\/p>\n

With the Chinese government implementing a 10 year plan to create a Chinese sports economy worth $850bn (\u00a3609m) the outlook for the Chinese sporting landscape is one of significant growth. Already 2016 has seen some of the biggest football player transfer deals in history including Jiangsu Suning paying \u00a337.5m for Alex Teixeira, and the value of domestic TV rights have rocketed with China Media Capital and their subsidiary Ti\u2019ao Dongli agreeing a deal of $1.3billion from 2016-2021. Chinese investors are also making their mark internationally, taking ownership and equity in global sports properties and agencies across the world.<\/p>\n
