It\u2019s the context.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cohesive nature: <\/strong>The ideal situation is that the players agree with the coach\u2019s philosophy and it works seamlessly, but be careful to ensure the senior leadership within the players is aligned and bought in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Balance of power: <\/strong>Do we put too much responsibility on players to work out what is good, and what is not? Players can come off the field after a loss and be at a loss, so as a leader and coach you need to know when to empower them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Thinking Points<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you want to unlock and enhance human value, designing experiences for your athletes to go through will help to tease their potential out. These experiences will also be a powerful way to enhance the value.<\/li>\n<li>You have to discover a theme and style that suits your team, and the organization. A good coach identifies this, continues to grow it and gives the athletes and other staff the opportunity to shape it with you.<\/li>\n<li>In coaching it\u2019s also incredibly important to dedicate time to coaching your coaches. Upskill them on the philosophy and style that underpins your philosophy and this should create a more aligned understanding of the process with the athletes.<\/li>\n<li>In team sports, there is the need to take a more holistic approach when it comes to \u2018team coaching\u2019, especially with additional challenges such as the inclusion of sports science, and psychological and technological language.<\/li>\n<li>In aspiring to create a high performance environment, you have to be prepared to invest and be consistent every single day to create a meaningful and powerful connection.
