Is Your Tech Helping you Have More Holistic Conversations About Performance?

Barry McNeill of Catapult explains the tech company's desire to understand and meet latent needs in sports performance in pursuit of solutions.

“We want to enable central conversations around performance,” says Barry McNeill, CEO of Catapult Elite. As McNeill explains, the organisation has evolved beyond its origins in wearables into a platform of technologies that ‘talk’ to each other.

“A lot of our customers don’t want to look at a single data point in isolation, they want to look at it more holistically,” he continues. “Our partners ultimately have scientists, coaches, medical departments and they want these to be more consolidated.” Crucial to this process is Catapult’s efforts to be made data more presentable, intelligible and meaningful for athletes. As McNeill says: “Digestible but intelligent.”
