If you didn’t make our webinar, the takeaways will make you wish you had; the way we view free time shouldn’t make us sad; empathy is the leadership skill that you should add.

Hello. Aloha. Ciao! We hope you’ve had a great start to your week, wherever you may be. We’re all beaming with pride here in the UK, because since we last spoke Emma Raducanu has become the first British woman to win a major tennis title in 44 years.

By Matthew Stone

You could say Emma’s triumph was a prime example of athlete optimisation. That’s timely, as we’re embarking on a ten-week series dedicated to that very topic, kicking off with a Virtual Roundtable this Thursday, and you can find more information and register for it here.

One more thought from me. A good friend of mine and Leaders tragically passed away last week. Trevor Moawad was one of the most influential practitioners and advisors across all of sport, and one of the most passionate, thoughtful, driven, talented and friendly people I have come across. I’m pretty sure he impacted everyone he ever crossed paths with.

My deepest condolences go out to his friends, family and the teams at MCG and Limitless Minds. I’m sure they’ll continue to do incredible work inspired by Trevor’s legacy.

And now, here’s another compilation of news, insights and stories from across high performance. Grab your brew, take a pew and enjoy the view!

Dream Team

To be successful, you need to be surrounded by good people. If you’re lucky enough to build your team, choose wisely and believe in your values.

Then, when you have that team around you, here’s some tips on how to get the most out of them.

It isn’t always easy to ask for. Here’s how to get over the awkwardness.

Asking for advice can be as difficult as asking for help. Here’s how to get better at receiving feedback.

There’s a problem with it. Well, we have a problem with uncertainty. How do we overcome it? By doing what’s uncomfortable, unfortunately.

Green with envy

Jealousy in the workplace can be a negative, as it stifle collaboration and teamwork. However, it can also have the opposite effect and inspire them to improve. So, here’s how leaders and teams can capture envy and turn it into productivity.
