Moyes moves to West Ham
David Moyes has been confirmed as the new Manager of Premier League side West Ham United. The 54-year-old Scot, who replaces Slaven Bilić, has signed a contract until the end of the season.
The Friedel Revolution
Former US international goalkeeper Brad Friedel has been appointed Head Coach of MLS side New England Revolution. The 46-year-old replaces Jay Heaps, who was fired in September.
Changing of the Garde
MLS’ Montreal Impact have named Rémi Garde as their new Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel. The 51-year-old assumes coaching duties from the departing Mauro Biello.
Montemurro to lead Arsenal Women
Joseph Montemurro has been announced as the new Head Coach of Women’s Super League side Arsenal Women. The 48-year-old Australian replaces Pedro Martínez Losa, who left the club last month.
Cannavaro returns to Guangzhou
Fabio Cannavaro has returned to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande as Head Coach. The 44-year-old Italian returns to the team almost two and a half years after he departed from the same role.
Scott signs for Watford
Andy Scott is the new Technical Director at English Premier League Watford. The 45-year-old arrives from English Championship side Brentford, where he served as Head of Recruitment.
Maynard rejoins Glamorgan
Matthew Maynard has returned to Glamorgan Country Cricket Club as a consultant batting coach. The 51-year-old will serve on a part-time basis under Head Coach Robert Croft.
Lloyd appointed by England
Matthew Lloyd has been appointed Head Coach of the England men’s basketball team ahead of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. He joins Andreas Kapoulas, who joined the team as Head Coach last month.
