    Google partnered with the WNBA and ESPN to enhance the visibility and coverage of women’s sports, help make women\u2019s sports easier to find and follow, and better connect fans to the game both on and off the court, leveraging its scale and commitment to equity to counteract the challenges faced by women’s sports.<\/p>\n

    In the partnership\u2019s first season, Google leveraged media investments with ESPN to become Presenting Partner of the WNBA on ESPN, helped produce 25 nationally broadcast games for the 25th WNBA season, unlocked a dedicated segment for women’s sports highlights on SportsCenter, and championed women’s stories through collaborations with ESPN Films. These partnerships were embedded across Google’s ecosystem \u2013 including Google Search, O&O Media Platforms, Talent, and media partners. Google engineered a celebratory Search results takeover for the historic 25th WNBA Season and improved Search results to have a more equitable representation of athletes for users. Additionally, Google Search Trends were showcased across broadcast, social, and in-arena to highlight varying fan interests and how they search for and consume the WNBA.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n <\/div>\n
