Peter Moore was appointed as the new CEO of Liverpool FC in late February 2017. The Liverpudlian took up the new role in June 2017, joining from video games giant EA.<\/h4>\n

One of the most popular presenters at Leaders over the years, Moore has delivered various keynotes in his roles as President of EA Sports, COO of EA, and just this past October as Chief Competition Officer at EA.<\/p>\n

Before joining EA, Moore spent 17 years in sporting goods, at Reebok, and he\u2019s a Liverpool lad through and through.<\/p>\n

This edition of the Leaders Podcast is a listen-back to\u00a0Moore’s keynote address from the Leaders Sport Business Summit in October 2016. The session title is \u2018The Art of Competition \u2013 EA Harnessing Community Power to Drive Engagement\u2019 \u2013 and in it, Moore details the work EA is doing in eSports \u2013 or what they prefer to call the world of competitive gaming \u2013 a growing, and as he himself admits, confusing space.<\/p>\n
