Flagship event of Leaders Week set to re-locate<\/p>\n \n \n \n

11 October 2018, LONDON – Leaders, the premium global conference and publishing business in sport, has today announced it will move its flagship Leaders Sport Business Summit to Twickenham Stadium, London, Home of England Rugby in 2019.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
\n

Hosted at Chelsea FC\u2019s Stamford Bridge since 2008, the Summit is relocating to accommodate the continuous growth in delegates from around the world and a more immersive environment for sponsors and exhibitors.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made as the 2018 Leaders Sport Business Summit draws to a close. This year\u2019s event saw over 100 speakers take to the stage, including Claire Cronin, Chief Marketing Officer of Virgin Atlantic; Alex Green, Amazon Prime Video\u2019s European Managing Director, Sports and Channels; Alessandro Antonello, Chief Executive Officer, FC Internazionale Milano and Peter Hutton, Director, Global Live Sports of Partnerships and Programming at Facebook.<\/p>\n

Now the focal point of Leaders Week, The Sport Business Summit has become the industry\u2019s must attend event, attracting the biggest international speakers and over 2000 sport business executives from over 50 countries around the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the last 11 years, we\u2019ve seen the event grow from 600 attendees to over 2000,\u201d<\/em> said Leaders Founder and CEO, James Worrall. \u201cStamford Bridge has been our home since the start and we can\u2019t thank the Chairman, Bruce Buck and their incredible events team, enough for their support during that time.\u00a0 But with Chelsea advancing their renovation plans for Stamford Bridge and a need to take Leaders to the next level, we\u2019ve taken the bold step to relocated to Twickenham.\u00a0 The move will not only support the events continued growth but also allow us to test new concepts and formats which we feel is needed to stay ahead of the curve”.<\/em><\/p>\n
