In what will be the biggest event for the sport business industry in 2016, October will see Leaders return to Chelsea FC, London, for the ninth consecutive year. Leaders Week will incorporate 5 separate events over 4 days, covering all elements of sport business and attracting 2,000 CEO’s and Directors from across teams, leagues, broadcasters and brands.

Brand new for 2016 are the Leaders Fan Marketing Summit and Leaders Future Stadium Summit on 4 October. Each will bring 150 ambitious sports executives together in a learning environment for six detailed case studies around the newest technologies and disruptive innovations in these areas. That evening will see the climax of Leaders Under 40, with a glittering Awards Dinner at the iconic Natural History Museum. The most talented executives in world sport from over 700 nominations received from 35 countries will be revealed live in front an invite only audience of 600 leaders in sport. Nominations close in less than one month so get yours in now.

The following two days will see the highly anticipated return of Leaders Sport Business Summit, London (5-6 October, Chelsea FC). With innovation driving the agenda, the thought leadership content will centre on Leadership, Digital pioneers, Brand excellence and, new to 2016, eSports. The Summit has reached capacity every year with 1800 delegates from 45 sports and across 46 countries with news reported all over the world by over 150 media outlets in attendance

Following the successof the highly-publicised Leaders Meet: The Game Changers in 2015, this event returns on Friday 7 October as an integral part of Leaders Week. Exploring how women are changing sport on and off the field, high profile leaders will share insights on marketing to female fans, pioneering sponsorship programs, the commercialization of professional leagues and competitions, influence in the media and growing participation levels. With over 300 executives in the audience, and media coverage at an all-time high, the day will also explore how an equilibrium can be achieved for women in all areas of sport.

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders said “Every year we continually evolve the Leaders Sport Business Summit to ensure we remain fresh, relevant and focussed on what the world of sport needs. Following extensive research with all the key stakeholders in sport, 2016 is our most ambitious plan to date, with a week of premium level content and learning for the most senior level executives in world sport. We hope it provides something for everyone responsible for driving progress and innovation in the business of sport.
