In this Club Workshop, we’ll be gathering expert insights from those taking a novel approach in sports to uncover new opportunities.
Whether it’s those entering the industry from elsewhere and using non-sport influences to get ahead, or those who’ve been in the mix and have a vision for how it could be done even better, discover how these leaders are doing things differently.
We’ll be centring discussion across three key pillars:
Discover – Who are the big underserved markets in sports and how do we reach them effectively? Which regions and demographics are leaders looking at to find the future of their fanbase?
Diversify – Where do the sports doing things differently look for inspiration? How do they uncover the best avenues to explore for new business and new revenue?
Disrupt – What does the process of developing and launching a disruptive business strategy look like? Why do some leaders challenge the status quo when established practices work?
Confirmed speakers:
– Lisa Franklin, CMO, D.C. United. Lisa comes from a background in big tech and is taking her first foray into the world of sports business. We’ll be hearing from her on the big lessons she’s taking from tech into sports, and where she thinks the industry is missing a trick.
– Melissa Lawton, CCO at SailGP. Melissa will be giving members her perspective on where the missed trick in sports is from a veteran broadcasters’ perspective, to understand how sports can and should be delivering their content to achieve best results.
There will be an exclusive chance to ask your questions of these leaders, as well as engage in thought provoking discussions with your fellow members, you’ll leave with an understanding of how innovators disrupt, and find out where those opportunities could be for you.
The Club Workshops are an immersive learning experience that will help you discover new people, ideas and skills to help fastrack your progress as a leader. All sessions are CPD accredited.
