For any organisations attracting and retaining the best talent is key to sustainable growth, and never more so in sport. However, you not only have to attract top performers, but create the right environment for everyone to thrive.
For those that are doing well, the rewards are unparallel from innovative thinking, to driving positive change, to increased wellbeing and rapid growth.
You will kick off the day with an in-depth session on mentoring, which will be run by the brilliant Chloe Walton, who has worked with organisations including UK Sport, Sky Sports, Hiscox, World Rugby and AON to deliver programmes that harness the power of human connection as a catalyst for change. This session will help you uncover the value of mentoring, understand the dynamics of a strong mentor-mentee relationship, and develop key leadership traits for fostering successful partnerships.
In the afternoon, get ready for ‘speed networking’ and insightful stories on The Power of People from three outstanding speakers. You will explore how to create high-performance environments and learn the essential skills leaders need to thrive in tomorrow’s workforce. There is an incredible lineup of speakers for you.
Guest Speakers:
Allison Katz-Mayfield, Senior Vice President, Games Delivery Revenue, LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With Paris now behind us, all attention shifts to LA28. The team has already made an impact, releasing over 1,200 content pieces, including their innovative “A” design campaign. Allison will share insights from Paris and discuss the journey of preparing for the world’s largest sporting event over the next four years.
James Rothwell, Chief Marketing & Content Officer, World Rugby. With the RWC 2025 coming to England in under a year, James and World Rugby are working on putting together an era-defining competition, with a finale back at the Allianz Stadium targeted for a record-breaking attendance. We’ll be hearing from him on how their work is set to come together to create a catalyst for both nationwide and global rugby growth.
Tom Rischbieth, Chief Revenue Officer, Football Australia. Tom will be joining us one year on from the FIFA Women’s World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand, giving us the post-mortem from hosting the competition and detailing the strategy used to build the commercial strength of the business. With the legacy of a World Cup almost as important as the tournament itself, we’ll hear how Tom and Football Australia have been cultivating the on and off field strength of the CommBank Matildas – who are currently enjoying a run of 14 sold out home matches in a row.
