The Role:

The role of the Senior Account Executive is to ensure that all existing partnership rights are executed to the highest standard, including event activations, producing content and connecting with others within the network. The Senior Account Executive will be the first point of contact for all partners, act as the Leaders ambassador and facilitator of all contractual needs. This role will require energy and a can do attitude. It will help the team to produce the best value and service for partners in an efficient way, including considerations around time and budget. This role will require the ability to pick up ad hoc tasks or whole projects including delivery, as and when needed. There may also be a need to have a feed into creative development at times. The individual should be communicative and easy to approach -giving team members and clients alike a sense of trust and confidence throughout the year.

 

Responsibilities:

    • Working in the Strategic Partnerships team to ensure all partnership rights are delivered as contracted to the highest standard
    • Plan and minute all account management calls
    • Effectively communicate partnership updates, deliverables and timelines to the relevant departments
    • Responsible for onboarding, planning, delivering and reviewing partner activations
    • Work with the marketing, content and operations teams to plan and execute relevant partnership rights
    • Proactively working with sales team to seek upselling opportunities within key accounts by understanding the business needs throughout the year and probing insight on the assets/ benefits they value the most
    • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across the sport industry
    • Measure and report partnership activations & campaigns to showcase ROI for partners
    • Responsible for creating, managing and delivering invitation campaigns for private events
    • Main point of contact for partners on event days
    • Using knowledge of the sport business industry to connect partners with key targets
    • Act as the ‘voice of the partners’ to help contribute to new product developments

 

Ideal Candidate:

    • Has 2-3 years’ experience in sport and/or account management
    • A broad understanding of sponsorship and partnerships
    • Confident communicator
    • A high level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
    • Self-motivated, hard-working, trustworthy and proactive
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good copywriting skills
    • Able to work quickly and accurately in order to hit tight deadlines
    • A people person who enjoys working in a team
