Responsible for all aspects of the team’s operation, Stephen first joined the RYA Olympic programme in 1997 and, since then, has helped lead the squad to numerous Olympic medals – with the team taking home five Olympic medals for the fourth year in a row at the London 2012 Games. Stephen’s duties are wide-ranging; he works directly with the sailors, coaches and support staff, and also oversees anything from sponsorship contracts to branding guidelines.
As he becomes the latest speaker to be revealed for the Sport Performance Summit, Stephen will be joined at the London event by 600 other leading sports performance professionals from all over the globe. Bringing together people from a host of different sports over the course of two days, the Summit serves as an important date in the calendar for any elite sports performance practitioner, with exclusive insights and unrivalled learning and networking opportunities on offer for all in attendance.
