Karl-Heinz is the first leader confirmed for the ECA’s panel of top club executives which will discuss the organisation’s strategy as the governance, complexity and globalisation of football continues to evolve. Starting his career as a successful footballer, playing for Lippstadt, Bayern and Inter Milan, Karl-Heinz became Vice President of Bayern in 1991 and subsequently Chairman of the Executive board at the club, where he takes responsibility for management control and communication, external relations and coordination with the supervisory board. He took up his role as Chairman of the ECA board in 2008.
