Newsspecially tailored environment exclusively for horse racing
Taking place at Stamford Bridge in London on 8-9 October, just a few days after the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the Summit serves as a timely opportunity for the international racing community to come together at the world’s most premium sports business gathering.
A newly added feature of the international two-day event, Leaders have introduced a specially tailored environment exclusively for the horse racing industry. Following extensive consultation with industry stakeholders, Leaders found a desire from senior people in racing for a place to network privately amongst peers whilst, at the same time, being able to reach out to other senior executive from across the sports industry.
As a result, Leaders have implemented a number of modifications for horse racing delegates at the flagship 1500 person event. The Summit will now feature the ‘Leaders Racing Lounge’ – a central and private networking lounge within the Summit for all racing delegates to use as a base to host meetings and network with their industry peers.
Racing delegates will have full access to all of the world class content featured at the Summit, with the content focus shifted towards the business of racing. Having removed sport specific themes such as Leaders in Football and Leaders in Racing, the conference agenda will focus on genuinely innovative and ground breaking sport business content, covering areas including sponsorship, branding, fan engagement, digital innovations, venue technology and marketing.
With added organised networking activities for racing industry attendees, which will also allow delegates to network across other sports and industries, the Sport Business Summit is set to become a more valuable source of knowledge and opportunities for racing executives, than ever before.
Leaders CEO, James Worrall, commented: ‘We’re really excited about the changes that we’ve made to the format of the event for our Racing delegates this year. We’ve listened to the feedback over the years and, with some of the racing industry’s most senior executives already confirmed, we’re sure that the event will prove invaluable for the racing delegates able to secure a place.”
