Leaders expected to sell out in weeks

Taking place on the 8-9 October at Chelsea FC in London, the 7th edition of the Leaders Sport Business Summit is set to sell out in record time, Leaders can reveal.

Only 89 of the 1500 delegate passes originally available remain, as Leaders continue to build on the world class list of speakers confirmed to deliver sessions at the international two day event. With a diverse content programme, this year’s summit is set to cover a host of pertinent areas of sports business, including keynote and panel discussions on fan engagement, evolution of data and technology, leading change, sponsorship innovations, sports ownership, brand development and globalisation.

Matching the diversity of the content is the vast selection of speakers at this year’s event, with the  line-up so far including: Gianni Infantino, General Secretary, UEFA; Glenn Miller, Head of Sport and Entertainment Media Partnerships EMEA, Facebook; Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Chairman of the European Clubs Association and FC Bayern Munich; Roel De Vries, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Marketing, Communications and Brand Strategy, Nissan; Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation; Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft; Sir David Brailsford, Team Principal, Team Sky; James Pallotta, President and Chairman, AS Roma; Russell Wolff, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, ESPN International; Paul Stretford, Football Agent, Ajaz Ahmed, CEO of AKQA; Dave Finocchio, Founder, Bleacher Report; Tom Daley, Olympic Diver; Joshua Harris, Owner, Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, and many more set to be revealed shortly.

As today marks exactly 5 weeks to go until the event, representatives from over 45 countries and 50 sports are confirmed to attend, including leading executives from over 120 brands. Attendees can expect to be joined by senior representatives from the likes of Adidas, Barclays, Samsung, Coca-Cola, British Airways, Lucozade, Nike, McDonalds, Sony Mobile, DHL, Gillette, Credit Suisse, Jaguar Land Rover, Proctor & Gamble, Santander, William Hill and lots, lots more – with all attendees fully vetted by Leaders to ensure that the event remains an exclusive gathering of only the industry’s most senior and relevant executives.

Leaders’ flagship event, the Sport Business Summit is renowned worldwide for the unrivalled networking opportunities that it provides year in, year out and, with a slightly revised format this year that sees Leaders focus entirely on the business of sport, the 2014 edition has seen higher demand than ever.

James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented: “We’re really excited about this year’s Sport Business Summit. The interest we’ve received has been phenomenal and, now in its 7th year, this year’s event is set to be a fantastic gathering of some of the sport industry’s brightest and most influential minds.”
