NewsMark Waller, Executive Vice President International, NFL, is the second speaker to be announced for the 2015 edition of the Leaders Sport Business Summit in New York, taking place on the 4-5 March at The TimesCenter in Manhattan.
James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented: “We’re looking forward to welcoming Mark to our New York stage. The NFL has ambitious plans for global growth and, as the man who is the driving force, Mark will be able to share a detailed insight into their vision for the future.”
Responsible for all aspects of the NFL’s international business and development, Mark is at the helm of the league’s current major focus on international growth. Since joining the organisation in 2006, Mark has had a heavy involvement in their international business. He became the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales in 2007 before being named the NFL’s first ever Chief Marketing Officer in 2009 and taking up his current role earlier this year.
As speculation grows about the potential for a London-based NFL team in the future, it is Mark’s job to oversee continued growth in the UK. With another three International Series games confirmed for 2015 and the full support of the UK government for a London team, the NFL’s overseas goals are gathering pace fast.
The Leaders Sport Business Summit New York will be operating a strict invitation process with only 500 places available to Director level executives in sport worldwide. If you are interested in attending please contact one of the team on +44 (0) 207 042 8666 or enquire below…
