gears up for Leaders Sport Business Summit
Roel features at the Stamford Bridge event alongside the likes of Christian Seifert, CEO, German Bundesliga; Erick Thohir, Owner and President, FC Internazionale Milano; Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft and Jeffrey Webb, President, CONCACAF.
Responsible for spearheading Nissan’s recently announced four year global sponsorship of the UEFA Champion’s League, as well as the AFCON, Brazil Olympics, and the Manchester City and Marion’s deals, Roel will speak in front of 1500 leading industry executives at the annual London event. Now in its 7th year, repeatedly selling out, Roel will join the Leaders Sport Business Summit to discuss the future of sponsorship and marketing, as well as his plans for the Champion’s League partnership and Nissan’s role as automotive sponsor for the Rio 2016 Games.
He commented: “Nissan’s sports sponsorships serve as an excellent example of how we deliver ‘innovation and excitement for everyone.’ I look forward to being a part of the Leaders Sport Business Summit and sharing how we’re using our sports platforms to engage and excite fans all over the world.”
James Worrall, CEO, Leaders commented: “Nissan is fast becoming a global powerhouse in sport sponsorship. As recently announced sponsors of the most prestigious football competition in Europe and partnering the biggest multi-sport competition in the world, we look forward to hearing from the man at the very helm of their marketing operation.”
