Everything in Balance: Work, Life, and Everything in Between
As we focus more on work-life balance as a means of inclusion and a performance differentiator, we’ll share case studies of those implementing varied ideas to support this cause.
This includes efforts to benefit both women and men working and competing in sport. This Community Call explores experiences and practical approaches to work–life balance that go beyond policy, spotlighting how clubs and institutes are actively supporting family life and parenthood while maintaining performance excellence. So, what does balance really look like in high performance sport? For the first time, we’ll be exploring this conversation through the lens of fathers and looking at how support for family life is defined, modelled, and encouraged in their environments. To help us unpack this important topic, we’re joined by three fantastic dads (and brilliant guests):
Dan Jackson – General Manager, Player Development & Leadership, Adelaide Crows FC
Rob Mason – Learning & Development Lead, Tasmania Football Club
Daniel Josifovski – Wellbeing & Engagement Network Advisor, Australian Institute of Sport
