You will learn how to continually evolve your programmes and development environments to meet changing needs, what is required today that wasn’t as essential in years gone by, and the key challenges likely to emerge as expectations shift. You’ll also consider how to best prepare yourselves to maximise your impact and ensure your approach remains relevant, resilient, and effective.

Session Summary
  • Session Facilitator: Iain Brunnschweiler, Elite Performance Consultant - Iain is the former Head of Technical Development at Southampton FC. Working as a consultant with the likes of the Premier League and England Cricket, Iain is a highly experienced sports leader with a passion for talent development, coach development, coach mentoring, evolving high performance systems and teams, implementing cultural change and creating direction for a multidisciplinary support staff.
  • What to expect: Topic-Led Discussions are 60-minute virtual discussions. There is an expectation of you to engage, as you will be sharing challenges with other members and tackling problems together to benefit from the diversity of knowledge and experiences. These sessions are either led by a facilitator as one group or allow for smaller breakout group conversations depending on numbers.
  • Session Eligibility Criteria: This session is suited to members working in Talent Pathway Leader, Head of Player Development and Lead Pathway Coach or equivalent roles.
