How do you engage an audience that already has an abundance of offerings? Join your fellow members as we discuss the changing sports media landscape. From the rapidly changing traditional model, to the opportunities for innovation.
Our guest speaker is Emil Sutovsky, Chief Executive Officer, FIDE
FIDE is the governing body of international chess competition, responsible for overseeing the 201 national chess federations to organise and administrate the game at the global level.
Chess has undergone a fascinating ‘re-invention’ in recent years (as covered in our 4se Material episode When Did Chess Become Cool?). With increasing accessibility through new ways to play the game, the game’s popularity amongst streaming influencers and the rise of ‘chess influencers’ like Magnus Carlsen and of course, The Queen’s Gambit, what was once seen as an academic and ‘nerdy’ pursuit has engaged an entirely new audience of both players and watchers.
Topic-Led Discussions enable you to share challenges, solve problems and gain new perspectives around an industry topic. All sessions are CPD accredited.
