Dr Nicola Brown is an Associate Professor in Women’s Health and Performance at St Mary’s University, Twickenham and a member of the Research Group in Breast Health at the University of Portsmouth.
Specifically, the research she undertakes aims to increase scientific knowledge of women’s health issues, and to develop and disseminate effective strategies for optimising health and performance of women in sport and exercise. Key areas of interest include the influence of the breast on sports participation and performance, investigation of breast pain and bra fit issues in exercising women, and breast health education.
