Adam Kucharski is a globally recognised scientist and author whose work sits at the intersection of data, behaviour, and decision-making under pressure. As Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, he leads research on how social behaviour, modelling, and analytics can improve real-world responses to complex challenges, from the growth of epidemics to the spread of innovations and information. He is also cofounder and CTO of WholeSum, which uses hybrid AI to bring statistical rigour to analysis of text data.
His latest book, Proof: The Science of Uncertainty, explores how we build trust, interpret evidence, and make confident decisions in a world full of unknowns. His writing has appeared in The Times, Observer, Financial Times, New Statesman and Wired, among others, and he has contributed to several documentaries, including BBC Horizon.
Adam brings a rare ability to translate deep scientific insight into compelling, actionable narratives. At the Summit, he’ll explore how leaders can navigate ambiguity, communicate risk, and foster alignment, turning uncertainty into a strategic advantage.
