Born in Papamoa, New Zealand, Rebekah Stott moved to Australia as an 11-year-old where she went on to captain the Green and Gold as a junior footballer before committing to represent the country of her birth and becoming a key member of the New Zealand national team, the Football Ferns, where she has earned over 100 caps.
Stott has played professional football in Australia, Germany, USA, Norway and England. Alongside her success at Club level, Stott has represented her national team at three Olympic Games and three FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments. Currently the Captain of Melbourne City FC, Stott is an inspiration both on and off the pitch, overcoming Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2021.
