Fabio is the recently appointed Director of Sport Strategy at Central Queensland University in Australia, a role he was appointed to in April 2024.
Fabio is highly experienced in the space of sports innovation and exercise science, having worked for Victoria University for over 12 years in capacities such as Director of Sports Innovation, Adjunct Professor and Professor of Sport & Exercise Science which led him to working with the likes of FIFA and UEFA on different projects. Alongside his work in the academic realm, Fabio was appointed the inaugural the Head of Performance & Sport Science (Academy and W-League) for Melbourne Victory as part of a partnership with Victoria University. Fabio also Chaired the Sports Science Advisory Group for Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) for three years.
