Gersson Rosas has left the New York Knicks Front Office this summer after an extraordinary 2026 Championship NBA run. He served as their Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations.
Rosas initially joined New York Knicks as a consultant in 2022 after previously serving as president of basketball operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves. After one year with the Knicks, he earned a promotion to senior vice president of basketball operations, a position he held through his recent departure.
During his time in New York, Rosas became one of the organisation’s most experienced decision-makers and helped contribute to the construction of a roster that ultimately delivered the Knicks an NBA championship. With more than two decades of front-office experience around the league, he brought an important perspective to the organization during its rise into a title contender.
