Laura is the most successful Great Britain Hockey Olympian ever produced as at Tokyo 2020 she became the first player to win medals at three different Games.
Having won bronze on home soil at London 2012, she then famously helped the team secure a historic gold at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Laura then made it three medals from three Olympics in Tokyo as she played a crucial role in leading the team to an emotional bronze. The following summer she enjoyed a superb Commonwealth Games gold medal in her hometown of Birmingham, and carried the flag at the closing ceremony; signifying the level of respect she has earned across British sport.
Laura has amassed over 360 international caps making her one of the countries most capped players to have played for England and GB and has recently retired after competing in her fourth Olympic Games in Paris. She was awarded an MBE in the Queens New Years’ Honours List in 2017 for services to hockey.
