Nicky Ponsford has held the role of Head of Women’s High Performance at World Rugby since 2021, where she is responsible for increasing the competitiveness of Women’s teams globally at Pinnacle Events including the Rugby World Cup and WXV. One of the most successful and widely respected high-performance managers in the women’s game, Nicky previously worked as the Head of Women’s Performance at the Rugby Football Union, a role she held since 2002.
