Our brains tendency is to create rules about the world around us, which means our existing knowledge and experience can actually undermine our ability to see new possibilities.

In the first part of the afternoon will explore some of the theory behind innovative thinking and problem solving.

Insights on knowledge and best practice are powerful, but they are not enough in the journey to achieving full potential.

In the second part of the afternoon, we will delve into some of the techniques we can use to help us look at challenges from a fresh perspective and generate new options to overcome problems and think innovatively. 

There will be time for group discussion, as well as time spent honing practical skills and techniques.
