Chris Fagan was appointed Senior Coach of the Brisbane Lions in October 2016. He joined the Club after almost a decade as Hawthorn’s, firstly as Head of Coaching & Development and then secondly as General Manager of Football during a highly successful period for the Hawks. Chris also spent a decade at Melbourne Football Club as General Manager of Football Operations, Assistant Coach and Reserves Coach. Fagan led Brisbane Lions to a second consecutive premiership in 2025 after finishing third on the ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season.
