Dr Stephen Rashford is a specialist emergency physician and medical director of the Queensland Ambulance Service. He has been medical director since 2005 and overseen a significant expansion in practice, including several novel treatment strategies. He is committed to ensuring quality evidence-based care. Dr Rashford will regularly attend cases in the field with paramedics. His special interests revolve around innovative trauma care interventions, including airway management, point of care ultrasound, aggressive blood product administration and high-performance quality assurance activities.
