Rohini, the Head of Global Partnerships and Strategy at Naandi Foundation, has over 3 decades experience in the development sector, with the first 14 years as a grassroots organizer in rural Bengal working with agriculture workers.
At Naandi Foundation since 2005, she has been active in a range of critical roles, including heading large-scale primary data collection surveys and large-scale operations. She has also led the grant mobilisation team, raising up to Rs 100 crores annually for implementing the entire range of projects of the organisation.
Since 2018 Rohini has been active in introducing sports to Naandi Foundation’s girl child programme. Within two years, she helped lead 180,000 school going girls and 6000+ young rural women in a journey of sports for life which included sports events at the grassroots in 6000 Indian villages across 9 states of the country.
