Abigail Weintraub has spent over a decade leading insight-driven strategies for some of the world’s leading sports, entertainment and consumer products brands that not only meet business objectives but also drive meaningful audience connections and create high-impact cultural touchpoints.
With an academic background in cultural theory and identity, Abigail’s work is grounded in finding the intersections of audiences, their passions and cultural forces that shape their consumer behaviors. Through this approach, she has consistently found ways to weave her commitment to equity, social justice and helping drive cultural change into her work, frequently advocating for under- and misrepresented communities to be better reflected through the work she leads her teams to execute.
At LA28, she leads the Brand Strategy & Management practice. In the last year, she guided the organization’s foundational thinking and design process that culminated in September 2020 with the successful introduction of the first truly inclusive, story-driven, and dynamic brand launch in Olympic and Paralympic history.
As a key leader at LA28, Abigail touches every facet of the organization, including her role with LA28’s joint venture with the USOPC – the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) – and its management of Team USA, its marketing campaigns and its collaboration with commercial partners.
Abigail also plays an active role in LA28’s efforts around community engagement, social justice, sustainability, and arts & culture as it stands up the entire organization to poise itself for the 7-year runway to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
