Alexandra is Director of Public Relations at the Premier League, having joined in 2016. This follows more than a decade in agencies, working for a range of international sports organisations, global brands and major events including the NBA, UEFA, La Liga, Red Bull, Formula E and London 2012.
She is currently one of the lead members of the Premier League communications department, with a responsibility for proactive strategic communications and campaigns. She leads multiple cross-organisation teams to deliver wide-ranging work across key issues.
One of her proudest career achievements was the role she played during the pandemic, not just for the League but in her work on behalf of all UK sports to help get fans safely back into grounds. She led the development of a communications campaign to demonstrate sport’s collective responsibility and represented the sector to UK Government. This work was adopted by all major sports competition organisations and was instrumental in demonstrating the sector’s ability to safely welcome supporters back to live events in line with Government guidelines, which was key to unlocking vital commercial revenues for the industry.
Prior to the Premier League, Alexandra played a key role in developing the NBA’s communications network and strategy across key EMEA markets and supporting the league’s growth outside the US.
Originally from Yorkshire, Alexandra studied French and English at the University of Nottingham and now lives in south-west London with her partner and three-year-old son.
