As Infront’s Head of Football Andreas Kaeshammer has a demonstrated track record in business development and top-tier client management cultivated over 10 years.
An experienced sports commercialisation expert, he began his current role in January 2021 having joined Infront in 2016 from Bain & Company. The new strategic direction and development in the industry required someone with a comprehensive business administration background and a high degree of fast adaptability. As manager for new business and project management, Andreas worked closely with the football business unit for five years, where he acquired a broad global sports industry knowledge.
As global Head of Football, Andreas oversees all football related businesses. This includes relationships with 50 football rightsholders and 60 individual agreements. All Infront football related projects, including the direct management of the global team and board positions at subsidiaries, fall under Andreas’ extended leadership. His mandate centres on tackling ongoing developments to ensure Infront maintains and builds on its position as one of the top players in the market.
Andreas also manages cross-departmental and cross-cultural rights acquisition project teams involving a multitude of experts from various functions. In addition, he contributes to the development of more junior colleagues and advocates Infront’s values and spirit, strongly representing those both internally and externally.
His ability to communicate effectively allowed him to flourish during Infront’s period of transformation. As Head of Transformation Office, Andreas led Infront’s first major structural reorganization since 2006 for the entire Infront Group, forming a solid basis for Infront’s future.
Beyond sport, he is passionate about social entrepreneurship projects in Africa. He co-founded and actively manages “Future of Madagsacar”, a foundation which achieved tangible impact over the past 14 years with more than 1,000 scholarships provided to local students and an annual education exchange programme.
He studied in Germany, USA, England and France and obtained multiple degrees including a Diplôme de Grande Ecole, Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration.
