Brent is the Global EVP for Gaming at dentsu. He is a natural builder who has created, constructed, and crafted authentic gaming, sports, and entertainment experiences for players and fans.
Before joining dentsu, Brent held leadership positions at Electronic Arts, Xbox, NCompass, and Roundhouse overseeing various aspects of advertising, product marketing, account management and partnerships.
Throughout his tenure at EA, Brent helped spearhead and build the infrastructure for EA’s esports strategy, ultimately managing the global esports portfolio comprised of EA SPORTS FC (formerly EA SPORTS FIFA), Apex Legends, and MADDEN NFL (American) Football.
He was a member of one of the early classes of Student Brand Managers at Red Bull, where he credits “gaining permission to be disruptive” as part of his style. This propelled his ability to grow an agency account team which created and managed Microsoft’s inaugural social media channels from zero. He also helped fuel the esports strategy for Microsoft, partnering with Activision in the early days of Call of Duty esports and consulting on the Halo esports ecosystem.
As the first employee of the EA SPORTS FC esports team, Brent and his team successfully launched the FIFA Ultimate Team Championship Series in 2017, bringing the best of football together with the best in esports – a legacy program which includes the best football esports players globally.
At dentsu, he has helped establish dentsu as a player in the gaming space, working with publishers, developers, and brands to integrate into gaming authentically and meaningfully. As a founding member of the Roblox Partner Program, Brent and the dentsu team continue to educate and pioneer with clients and partners through the nuisances of engaging with a new era of consumers.
He and his partner, Jenny, proudly live in East London with their four children: Foster, Matilda, Ed, and Penny Lane.
