Melody Li spearheads SPORTFIVE’s business development in Greater China.
As the founding member of SPORTFIVE China, Melody has played a leading role in building the team from scratch since 2016. She leads European football commercialization, rights holder management, creative activation, rights holder social operation, media rights, communication and key account teams at SPORTFIVE China, and acts as China Head of Sales in SPORTFIVE group.
Melody is proud of leading her team to make special marks and setting industry standards in the global sports business. Her highlight projects include supporting OPPO to become UEFA Champions League official global sponsor, helping F1’s China strategy rejuvenation and F1 Fan Festival commercialization, facilitating OnePlus and Boston Marathon’s global partnership, supporting Hisense’s FIFA World Cup global creative activation, facilitating Shenzhen government’s ground-breaking partnership with Ligue de Football Professionnel to host Trophée des Champions in 2018 and 2019 in Shenzhen, facilitating Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan’s friendly match in Macao in 2019, leading Paris Saint-Germain’s China tour activities in 2019, and managing social media operation for Atletico de Madrid, Belgium Football Association and Spanish Football Association in China.
Melody began her career as a broadcast liaison officer for Beijing 2008 Olympics & Paralympics. She was involved in the 2010 Asian Games, WTA events in China, Harlem Globetrotters China tours, UFC events in Asia and US, the Volvo Ocean Race and Wimbledon etc.
