Siobhan is at the very heart of Six Nations Rugby, in her role as Head of Broadcast Partnerships: overseeing all broadcast scheduling, production, partnership delivery and leading the critical relationships on behalf of rugby unions largest international broadcast rights holder.
As the lead for all Six Nations Rugby broadcast partnerships, Siobhan manages a large and complex stakeholder group including a small and agile internal team. This extends into management of wider Six Nations Rugby team members, commercial and communications counterparts at each Union and the extensive ecosystem of broadcast partners themselves.
Six Nations Rugby is renowned for delivering the annual Guinness Six Nations, which each year captivates the attention of over 140million live viewers worldwide. Considering all competitions, Siobhan is pivotal in delivering Six Nations Rugby products to over 250milion fans worldwide
With 8 host broadcast partners in domestic territories, and a further 23 worldwide Siobhan is instrumental in supporting all aspects of their delivery of rugby’s oldest international Championship, the Guinness Six Nations, which is carried in almost 200 territories worldwide, alongside overseeing broadcast operations for Women’s Six Nations, Under 20s Six Nations and all Autumn Nations Series rugby.
Siobhan has a degree in Microbiology from Trinity College, Dublin, and spent five years leading projects, but driven by her passion for sport and with a hunger to understand all aspects of the industry, in particular its commercial side, Siobhan made the brave call to change her career path and follow her dreams.
Early stints with the Ladies European Tour, England Hockey as a Partnerships Manager, and then Ireland Pentathlon as General Manger started Siobhan on her journey into sport. Leading the sport sponsorships for Three Ireland followed, before joining Six Nations Rugby in 2017.
After taking a calculated risk to change industries, Siobhan set herself a clear strategy to chart a course that would get her where she wanted to be and she has since become a key pillar of Six Nations Rugby for over five years, taking on a leadership role within the business focusing on one of its most important areas that will drive growth of the organisation, and wider game.
For Siobhan, a role with Six Nations Rugby was the pinnacle as its Championships hold an incredibly special place in the hearts and minds of so many people, including Siobhan, who advocated the ability to create lasting memories for fans, that go far beyond the rugby action and create everlasting moments in time.
