Jason Wachter is Director and Head of Global Brand Partnerships at Meta, where he leads consumer marketing across the Reality Labs division, spanning AI glasses, wearables, and virtual reality. Over the past four years, Jason has helped establish Meta as the category leader in AI wearables and VR by forging industry-defining partnerships with sports entities, including the NFL, NBA, UFC, Fanatics, Arsenal, Red Bull, the New York Knicks, and more. Most recently, Wachter led Oakley Meta’s FIFA World Cup integration, culminating in the tournament champions celebrating victory while wearing Oakley Meta glasses.
Prior to his current role, Jason led Sports & Entertainment Marketing across Meta’s family of apps, driving company-wide partnerships and campaigns around the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and other major global moments. Before joining Meta, he held leadership roles in marketing and partnerships at Turner Sports (NBA on TNT and March Madness) and FanDuel, building a career at the intersection of sports, technology, media, and culture.
Based in New York City, Jason serves on Syracuse University’s Newhouse (NEL) Board, guest lectures at NYU, and advises emerging companies shaping the future of sports, media, and technology.
