Nikki began her career with a dream internship in the Commercial team at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games after graduating from the University of Oxford. 15 years on, she’s been fortunate enough to work for some of the most prestigious rights-holders in global sport, including the Premier League, Liverpool FC, Tough Mudder, England Rugby and now Six Nations Rugby, where she leads the team responsible for sponsorship sales, retail, product licensing, partnership management and commercial insights as Head of Business Development & Partnerships. To date she’s negotiated sponsorship deals worth over £400m for these organisations.
Nikki’s career highlights have included devising and commercialising children’s Tough Mudder events to help get kids outdoors and active – something she is passionate about, and focuses on in her position as a school governor; creating the ePremier League eSports tournament from scratch, the inaugural finals of which attracted audiences of 14 million; agreeing the deals with Allianz and BBC Sport that got Women’s domestic league rugby its first Title Partner and BBC broadcast deal, paving the way for the league to become a standalone entity; leading the commercial side of England’s successful bid for the 2025 Rugby World Cup; and executing Six Nations Rugby’s Title Partner renewal with Guinness, the biggest sponsorship deal ever agreed in global rugby. The latter deal includes a commitment from Six Nations to launch and promote an inclusive Championship, something that is very close to Nikki’s heart.
Alongside her corporate roles, Nikki spent ten years representing Great Britain and England in athletics, winning multiple wheelchair track and marathon medals. She has a Masters in International Relations with French & German and earned her MBA from Imperial College Business School.
Nikki is now based in Dublin with her husband Cían and their new baby boy, Arlo. She is looking forward to spending maternity leave travelling around the Southern Hemisphere and introducing Arlo to as many sports as possible.
