James Higgs is a Partner at IDEO and Managing Director for IDEO Europe. He is a software engineer who has spent the last 25 years designing and delivering software on the internet almost exclusively in client service contexts. In that time he has worked with clients from numerous industries, from fashion retail to media to construction and just about everything in between. James has practiced Agile and related methodologies since the publication of the Agile Manifesto in February 2001 and has consulted with a diverse group of clients to help them adopt modern software development practices. At IDEO his practice is centred on the intersection of Business Strategy, Product Strategy and Technical Strategy. He has a particular focus on helping clients take action towards Net Zero.
