The digital transformer who has swapped sport for art
What:Art Basel is the world’s largest annual art fait, showcasing work from 250 galleries and over 4,000 artists (and has spawned international offshoots in Miami and Hong Kong). Hepburn joined the company in 2023 to help drive value creation throughout its digital ecosystem. He was previously Uefa’s Chief Digital Transformation Officer, so has recent experience of working at the heart of sport.
Why:At both Uefa and now Art Basel, Hepburn has been tasked with digital transformation projects – integrating and utilising latest technologies and the organizational change that goes with it. Increasingly, AI is part of his focus, as Art Basel builds the internal architecture to better connect and service fair attendees, art sellers and art buyers.
